Ice Cold and On Tap
Eighteen years is a great run for any band. When you consider the band was started when members were kids in high school, it's even more amazing to have continued for that long.
We grew up on stage... we matured in our lives in-between gigs... advanced our careers, got married, and had kids. With everything that comes with "life" during that period of time between the late teens to mid-30's, we held together a professionally gigging band cranking out 40-50 shows a year on average.
The projected lifespan of any band is between two and five years. We've all been a part of side bands and projects that fell within that average. For any number of reasons, most musicians don't often stay linked to each other in the same outfit for half a decade, let alone nearly two. It's an accomplishment we feel very proud of.
Over the past four years, the end started working its way through our group. We've had some great musicians step in to help us carry on during this period, none more than Jon Noble, and we thank each and every one of them. It has become clear to all involved, that we're near the end of the run and we'd like to bow out with the professionalism we've always carried ourselves with over the past 18 years.
The decision isn't easy and isn't taken lightly, but it's time... to say goodbye to The Green...
There are too many people to thank by name... too many amazing venues to mention... so many people and places deserving of our respect and gratitude... from our closest friends, family members, girlfriends, wives, and children... to our fellow Cleveland musicians, dedicated fans, and the best venue managers and owners to work for... we thank you and love you all very much!
